In 1995, the California State Police merged with the California Highway Patrol. In the years that followed, most state police items and memorabilia (badges, patches, pins) disappeared.

California Badge and Emblem was formed to assist former California State personnel and those who collect State Police memorabilia in replacing missing items from their collections, building shadow boxes for their families, or building new collections. Because the State Police merged with the California Highway Patrol, you will find some CHP items and as they come into our possession along with other law enforcement goods as well.
